Reflexology is among the oldest concepts in the world and is based on the theory that the human body is reflected in the reflex zones of the feet. According to reflexology, each organ or region of the body is linked to a certain point below the foot.

To regulate the well-being of the body through the sole of the feet, the 5 ZONES and REFLEX ZONES insoles are fitted and adapted with elevations and depressions. Certain zones below the feet are stimulated so that the body can find its original balance again. If, for example, there is tension in the neck area, we are trying to contribute with the respective elevation on the shoe insole to stimulate this area and the neck can soon relax.

The human body works as a complex system in which all parts are connected. According to reflexology, there are links between zones below the feet and the organs, muscles, joints, spine and head. The reflexology zones for the neck, for example, are in the front part below the foot, while the rear area below the foot is associated with the digestive system. Studies have found that self-healing processes and regulation mechanisms in certain parts of the body can be activated through the reflex zones below the feet. Following this reflexology concept, we are also trying to contribute preventively with our reflex zones insoles to a well-being of the person and to possibly reduce pains. Researchers at the University of Innsbruck have found that blood flow in the kidneys can be stimulated if the respective zone below the foot that is associated with the kidneys is stimulated. A further study at the University of Jena was able to reduce the discomfort of patients with knee joint arthrosis by stimulating the respective reflexology zone.

The stimulation of certain regions or organs of the body through the reflexology zones below the feet was already carried out in ancient Egypt, the Indians and the Chinese. In the 18th century, the reflexology concept of Indian culture was classified by Dr. Fitzgerald (USA). This knowledge was published through the later work of the American masseuse Eunice Ingham. The method of reflexology pressure point massage was finally brought to the German-speaking world from America via England.

Well-Being Starts With The Feet

Who is not familiar with the feeling of walking barefoot on warm sand or the vibrancy of the body during a barefoot walk over the forest floor or a meadow? When mankind still walked barefoot through nature, the feet were stimulated in a natural way. The fine motor skills were trained through the unevenness of the ground and contributed to healthy overall motor skills.

In current everyday life, the human being cannot do without firm and safe shoes. Of course, they provide protection from the cold, unevenness of the ground and other dangers. However, enjoying this safety also bears the disadvantage that the natural stimulation of the feet can no longer take place. As a sensory organ, the foot can adapt to a variety of ground conditions. The even insoles of modern shoes are no challenge for the sensory perception function of the foot. The foot loses its adaptability when being only stimulated in a one-sided way or not at all and the balance in the body will become unstable. To restore harmony, our REFLEX ZONES footbeds have an uneven surface with elevations and depressions. These insoles ensure while walking that the foot sinks into the insole and then raises again.

How Does the Reflex Zones Insole Work?

A warm and relaxed feeling, regular pulsating of the body, a straight walking posture through shoe insoles throughout the day – is that possible? The REFLEX ZONES insoles of Casa Everz GmbH are fitted with specific elevations and depressions which stimulate certain reflexology zones below the foot and are designed to specifically revitalise parts of the body. The massaging cushions of the 5 ZONES and REFLEX ZONES insoles stimulate these reflexology zones and therefore also the associated organs are influenced with every step through immersion and relief. As the shore hardness is adapted exactly to the tissue tension of the foot sole, these motions have a soft stimulating effect to the reflexology zones. This effect simulates the effect of walking barefoot. Either when sitting for a long time or during heavy physical exertion, the feet can be either either insufficiently or excessively challenged. The results are cold, tired or tense feet with possibly disturbing effects to the whole body's balance.

This is where the gentle reflexology insole takes on its valuable task. Through the neuroplexus, many correlative effects occur in the respective segment between the foot and the organ. By wearing shoes fitted with our reflexology insole, the feet are stimulated and massaged throughout the day. Our insoles aim to softly reduce muscle tensions and pain. Contrary to pain point pressure, the gentle reflexology massage with the reflexology insole can contribute to improve the state of the affected muscles. The result is a feeling of lightness, balance in everyday life and a strong sense of the body – the feet as the source of life.
